Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine is a stimulant drug that can be smoked, snorted, or injected.
It is most commonly referred to as crystal meth, or speed.

When you take crystal meth in any of the three ways, it increases your alertness, concentration, and energy.

Crystal Meth is very harmful on the body.  Chronic use of it can cause increased blood pressure and do serious damage to blood vessels, harming the brain.  If injected, it can cause collapsed veins and hepatitis B and C and other blood-borne viruses.

Mentally, crystal meth can cause episodes of violent behavior, anxiety, paranoia, and confusion.  The drug can cause psychotic problems that could last months.
